Best of Tides
Best of Tides is the newest beach house in the Saltwater Properties family of properties. We love Galveston and we love sharing it with you. Best of Tides is right across the street from Best of Times and offers beautiful master-bedroom views, a large kitchen with plenty of storage and cooking space, warm, beachy furnishings, and four comfortable bedrooms.
Like Best of Times, it’s two short blocks to the quiet and family-friendly beach. Stay with your family (sleeps ten) or vacation with another family at Best of Times, too (sleeps 17 total). You’ll discover the peaceful setting of Pirates Beach is the perfect backdrop to have the best time, watching Galveston’s best tides from your bedroom window.

In 1997, when Mike asked me to marry him at an old church in Galveston, we hoped this place would be part of our lives forever.
Many years and four kids later, Galveston remains a big part of our story. Our best family memories are on these beaches, as Mike and I have watched our next generation fall in love with the quirky beauty of this town.
In 2012, we began hosting guests to the island.
We’re pleased to share these home with your family. Come and be refreshed at Best of Tides. Reconnect with your people over beach walks, lounging on the many decks, and exploring the historic and eccentric treasures of Galveston Island.
