Best of Times Beach House is well-equipped with charm, gulf breezes, comfortable furnishings, and all the luxuries of home. This Pirates Beach cottage is perfect for family vacations.
Relax on the large decks, dine on the shady bottom patio, or take a short walk to the beach for sun, sand and surf.
Cook dinner in the well-equipped kitchen or follow the tips in the Best of Times Beach House guide book and try the locals' favorite restaurants.
Best of Times is 2 blocks to the beach. Your family will fall in love with prestigious Pirates Beach and its peaceful, private beaches. It is just beautiful here.
The house has everything you need to relax, including an outdoor shower, patio furniture on both decks and the huge patio, a well-stocked kitchen with brand new, top-of-the-line appliances, and a large flat screen tv with dvd.
When you are ready for the beach, it’s a short walk away! Beach toys, and life jackets are provided for fun in the sun. Our family home is kid-friendly and pet-friendly, but it is non-smoking.
Best of Tides
Best of Tides is the newest beach house in the Saltwater Properties family of properties. We love Galveston and we love sharing it with you. Best of Tides is right across the street from Best of Times and offers beautiful master-bedroom views, a large kitchen with plenty of storage and cooking space, warm, beachy furnishings, and four comfortable bedrooms.
Like Best of Times, it’s two short blocks to the quiet and family-friendly beach. Stay with your family (sleeps ten) or vacation with another family at Best of Times, too (sleeps 17 total). You’ll discover the peaceful setting of Pirates Beach is the perfect backdrop to have the best time, watching Galveston’s best tides from your bedroom window.

In 1997, when Mike asked me to marry him at an old church in Galveston, we hoped this place would be part of our lives forever.
Many years and four kids later, Galveston remains a big part of our story. Our best family memories are on these beaches, as Mike and I have watched our next generation fall in love with the quirky beauty of this town.
In 2012, we opened Best of Times Beach House as a place for your family discover the unique beauty of Galveston, too. We’ve so enjoyed hosting thousands of families who have discovered all these beaches and this historic island have to offer.
Ten years later, our dream of welcoming guests to the island grew when we opened Best of Tides Beach House, across the street from Best of Times.
Today, we’re pleased to share these homes with your family. Come and be refreshed at Best of Times and Best of Tides. Reconnect with your people over beach walks, lounging on the many decks, and exploring the historic and eccentric treasures of Galveston Island.
